NVQ Training Company backs yet another winner!

Kate Dipper, from Lex Vehicle Leasing, has won the Customer Service Professional category in the National Customer Service Professional of the Year Awards. Kate was sponsored by Training Alternatives who are delighted that Kate is their second winner two years in a row. Kate was presented with her award at the Grosvenor House Hotel, in London, amongst 1,500 customer service professionals representing their companies.

Chris Tudor and Sarah Hill run Training Alternatives and on top of this latest award, they sponsored last year’s overall winner, which for a company who has been in business for only three years, is a fantastic achievement! Chris and Sarah decided three years ago that they could offer an NVQ programme in Customer Service and Call handling that was developmental, rewarding and demanding. Having both worked with NVQs for many years, Chris with Sainsburys and Sarah in Local Government, they could both see a gap in the market for a company offering a more professional approach than the traditional government funded training provider.

Chris and Sarah have developed a highly successful and exciting six-month programme, which incorporates self-assessment, training and on-the-job coaching and assessment. Training Alternatives recognises that people are more motivated within their jobs if they have a sense of responsibility and feel good about themselves. Their results have been outstanding, with 100 per cent client satisfaction. One such company is Stannah Stairlifts, in Andover, who as a result of the NVQ programme, had Gaynor Childs entered in the 2001 awards and not only did she win her category, but she was also voted overall winner from over 2000 entries. This year Sharon Richards from Stannah Lift Services, a sister company, also won her category.
